I’m a Seattle-area native who hates the word “blog”. Yep, I freakin’ hate it. It sounds like a linguistic combination of various unpleasant substances, creatures and/or ailments. But hey, I wasn’t a big fan of “spam”, either, but you can’t stop The Internet once it makes up its mind about something.

I’m something of a Jill of All Trades — meaning that I’m a writer, editor, proofreader, skincare and beauty maven, software tester, chef, baker, gardener, and linguist all in one.

I’ve been interviewed in ELLE and Hallmark magazines, and The Stranger and The Seattle Post-Intelligencer local papers. My humor posts have been voted into Best-Of Craigslist several times. I maintain a beaty blog called Heliotro.pe, a food blog called Framboi.se, and a business helping people find love online, called Loveb.ug. I write about fashion, food, advice, love, life, linguistics, design, makeup, hair and skin care, technology, vidoe games, and lots more.
