…and that discovery is called “Oatmeal and Cheese”. It’s STUNNING! Maybe it sounds weird, but I was thinking “what can I put in this [oatmeal] to make it not gross” as I’ve never liked oatmeal, and I was reminded of how I used to eat grits and cheese as a kid (shut up, my dad’s from South Carolina; if yours were, you’d have eaten it too) and the rest is culinary history. Sure, it probably kind of negates the whole “good for your cholesterol” aspect of oatmeal, but hey, at least I found a way to make it palatable! Maybe that kind of makes up for the cheese I ingest? Whatever. I’m happy. I like new laziness ideas – and here’s a gluten-free alternative to mac and cheese. Woo!
